The following applies specifically to Cardone Remanufactured Axle Assemblies (prefix AAZ-). Click this link for instructions on How to Return All Other Cores.

All Cardone axle cores must be returned directly to Cardone. Please follow the instructions below.

Package Your Old Axle

  1. Drain all the oil from the axle.
    1. Tip: Remove the differential cover. Reinstall it after the axle is empty.
  2. Install any plastic plugs from the new axle into the same place on the old axle.
  3. Tag the old axle with the VIN number of the vehicle it was removed from.
  4. Attach the shipping end caps from the new axle to the old one.
  5. Package the old axle in the shipping container that the new axle arrived in.
    1. Secure it in the same way the new one arrived.
  6. Label the container for shipment.

Schedule a Pickup

  1. Contact R&L Carriers to request pickup:

  2. Provide the following information to the carrier:
    1. Your Name
    2. Address of the pickup location
    3. Point of contact name (if different from yourself)
    4. Your phone number
    5. Your email address
    6. Number of containers to be picked up
    7. Your company name (if applicable)
    8. Where you bought the axle

What You Should Expect

  • R&L Carriers will schedule a time and date for pickup.
  • They will also send you a complete Bill of Lading (BOL) prior to pick-up.
  • After the core is received and inspected, we will issue your Refund.

Notes

  • For the best service, please return your core within 90 days of purchase.
  • Damaged or unusable cores will not be accepted.
  • In accordance with state and local laws, sales tax charged on core value may be non-refundable.
